A listing for Cardsmiths Currency Series 6 appeared briefly on the official Cardsmiths eBay seller account before being pulled down. As of today, Series 6 does not appear anywhere on the Cardsmiths website, and there has been no formal announcement. But the listing was live long enough for collectors to spot it, and we captured a screenshot before it disappeared.
Here’s what the listing contained.
An America250™ Collaboration
The listing describes Currency Series 6 as a collaboration with the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, tying the set to the America250 Anniversary. If accurate, this would be a first for the Currency line — a formal institutional partnership rather than the series’ usual independent approach to covering economic history.

Previous Currency sets have explored broad themes. Series 1 and 2 covered influential figures and forms of money across civilisations. Series 3 moved into Austrian economics and AI. Series 4 focused on fictional global currencies. Series 5, which launched in November 2025, expanded to 135 cards and brought in new gemstone tiers alongside the largest Cryptoid wave to date. A government-backed collaboration marking America’s 250th anniversary would be a significant thematic shift.
120+ Card Designs
The listing states more than 120 total trading card designs. The listing didn’t break down base cards versus short prints, so it’s unclear whether “120+” refers to the total checklist or just the main set. Series 5 was the first to exceed 100 cards, and if Series 6 maintains that scale, it continues the trend of larger checklists that some collectors have been questioning in terms of completionist sustainability.
Artist Lineup
The listing named Mr Brainwash, Jon McTavish, Rachid Lotf, and Thomas Zahler among the featured artists. Mr Brainwash debuted in Series 5 — his return for a second consecutive series suggests a more permanent role in the Currency creative lineup. Jon McTavish and Thomas Zahler are familiar names to Currency collectors from earlier sets.

Subset and Insert List
The listing included a long subset breakdown:
- Collector Cards (base set)
- Collector Parallel Rainbow Holofoil Cards
- Collector Parallel Crystal Sparkle Holofoil Cards (listed as Collector Box Exclusive)
- Collector Card Parallel
- Serial-Numbered Gemstone Refractor Cards
- Meta-Rare Refractor Cards
- Cryptocurrency Redemption Cards
- Cold Foil Cards
- Double-Sided Holofoil Banknote Cards
- Short-Packed Alternate Art Cards
- One of Twenty-One Cards
Most of these are returning formats from Series 5. The “One of Twenty-One” cards appeared in Series 5 as extremely limited Bitcoin-themed cards numbered to just 21 copies, so it’s likely this carries over in a similar form. No mention of Cryptoids in the listing, but they’ve been part of Currency since Series 3.
Crypto Redemptions
Cryptocurrency Redemption Cards return, redeemable for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. The listing specifically mentioned the possibility of pulling 1 BTC and 1 ETH hits. This has been a signature element of the Currency line since Series 1, and Series 5 featured what Cardsmiths described as their largest-ever crypto redemption offering.
Box Configuration
The listing described a Master Case of 24 Mega Boxes, each containing 8 packs of 5 cards — totalling 960 cards per case. This is the same configuration used in Series 5.
Limited-Edition Numbered Packaging
One detail that stands out: the listing mentioned limited-edition collector’s packaging on select Mega Boxes, individually serial-numbered out of 1,776. The number is clearly a nod to the year of American independence, tying into the America250 theme. Numbered packaging is new for the Currency line — previous series have used serialised cards, but not serialised boxes.
Why Was It Taken Down?
We don’t know. It could have been posted before an intended announcement window, or pulled for other reasons. What we can confirm is that the listing appeared on the verified Cardsmiths eBay account, and it is no longer live. Series 6 does not currently appear on cardsmiths.com.
We captured a screenshot of the original eBay listing before it was removed — see below.

We’ll update this post when there’s an official announcement or preorder availability.
